A True Skill in the Hands of a Master
Welcome to another challenge. I have had a crazy two weeks. One of my pipes burst and then I got sick so I have had a mixed time. But here we go!
The Gist of It
The rules are very straight forward.
Meet Juliana Daughtery. Like always I randomly selected this sim and got to work.
Her traits are green thumb, artistic, adventurous, ambitions, and handy. Her lifetime wish is Golden Tongue and Golden Fingers.
I picked a house from the blue prints and got to work. She joined the music career and got to work on her skills. Every day was spent in some sort of skill building. She also traveled to the different worlds to get her skill builders from there. As I decided not to go with cheats I did not do buydebug.
I made sure to incorporate each skill challenge into what I was doing. This was done for an entire 2.5 life cycles. That's right, she got old twice. I used the young again potion when she completed her lifetime wish in her first life and then saved up enough reward points to do it again. I also moved her into a bigger house to accommodate the garden and my new found nectary. I used the "My Best Friend" to get a RoboSim to tend the garden so she could worry about making nectar instead of spending all her time growing the grapes. Bonehilda also took care of all the cleaning.
On a side note one of Juliana's wishes was to throw a costume party and to have a great party.
Two different sims died on my lot in the same party! Not sure of that is a spooky day win or a party fail.
A few days into adulthood (for the 3rd time) Juliana finally mastered all the skills and completed one challenge (sometimes multiple) in each category.
I really enjoyed this challenge. It forced me to really play the game again. I traveled to the different worlds more often than I normally do. I also never care about the challenges themselves so it was a nice change to focus on those different goals. However, it may have been too much for one challenge. I had to start her life over twice. About halfway through her 2nd lifetime it also got to be a bit of a chore. I am really glad that I played it through, though.
Fun: 3.5/5. Fun but got to be a chore at the end
Difficulty: Medium. You have to know how to navigate the best way to complete the skills.
Time frame: Clear the calendar if you want to complete this challenge straight through. It took me about 2 1/2 weeks with a few days of all day gaming. (A lot of waiting around for sleep and to finish work)
Playability: 4/5: Easy to follow the rule and keeps things interesting.
Overall rating: 3.75/5

- Complete one challenge in each skill including collecting
- Use motherlode to start yourself out but then get a job that will assist with boosting skills
- Do not use fast learner until you master 5 skills
- Bonus: Get every lifetime reward
